Mike McEwen, Colton Flash staff up for brand spanking new Saskatchewan-based ring

After a season in Ontario, Mike McEwen returns to the prairies the following season.

The 42-year-old skips the Saskatchewan-based ring, which options the third Colton Flash and the front-end duo of brothers Kevin and Dan Marsh.

McEwen, who has labored for Manitoba his whole profession, has fielded a brand new Ontario-based staff this season, that includes veterans Ryan Fry and Brent Laing. Joey Hart changed him earlier than the Ontario Tankard with Jonathan Buick beginning the season on the helm of the staff.

On the Tim Hortons Friar in London, the McEwen staff posted a 6-2 round-robin file and defeated Kevin Coyne’s Alberta within the quarter-finals earlier than shedding to Brendan Boettcher in a 3-4 playoff.
